കൊളാഷ്
വിവിധ ചിത്രരൂപങ്ങളുടെ സംയോജനത്തിലൂടെ മറ്റൊരു ചിത്രരൂപം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ദൃശ്യ കലാരൂപമാണ് കൊളാഷ്(ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്:Collage). വാർത്താപത്രങ്ങളുടെ ചെറുകഷണങ്ങൾ, റിബ്ബണുകൾ, വർണ്ണക്കടലാസുകൾ, ചിത്രങ്ങൾ, മറ്റുകലാരൂപങ്ങളുടെ ചെറുഭാഗങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ ഒരു കടലാസിലോ ക്യാൻവാസിലോ പശചേർത്ത് ഒട്ടിച്ചെടുത്താണ് കൊളാഷ് സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നത്. കൊളാഷിന്റെ ഉത്ഭവം ആയിരക്കണക്കിനു വർഷങ്ങൾ മുമ്പാണ്. പക്ഷേ ഇരുപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ ആദ്യത്തിലാണ് ഈ സാങ്കേതികത ഒരു പുത്തൻകലാരൂപം എന്ന നിലയിൽ നാടകീയമായി പുനരവതരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്.
കൊളാഷ് എന്ന പദം പശ എന്നർഥമുള്ള ഫ്രഞ്ച് പദമായ കൊളി എന്നതിൽ നിന്നാണ് ഉരുത്തിരിഞ്ഞത്.[1] ഇരുപതാനൂറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ തുടക്കത്തിൽ ആധുനിക കലയുടെ അവിഭാജ്യ ഘടകമായിമാറിയ കൊളാഷിനു പിന്നിൽ ജോർജു ബ്രാക്കു , പാബ്ലോ പിക്കാസോഎന്നീ പ്രശസ്ത കലാകാരന്മാരാണ്. [2]

കടലാസ് കണ്ടുപിടിച്ച 200 ബി.സി യിൽ ചൈനയിലാണ് കൊളാഷിന്റെ സാങ്കേതികത ആദ്യമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്.
